Mons La Trivalle.

A cold but bright walk today, walking along over to the gorge de Heric, along the yellow route to La Coste, over to St Martin through the chestnut woods and through the vineyards. Then past the pretty church on the blue route to La Pomarede, past all the friendly donkeys down under the piste vert and along the river bank to join back up to the cycling track later which takes you back into Mons La Trivalle. Takes a couple of hours and there are plenty of spots to stop for a picnic or a flask of coffee and biscuits. Parking at the car park in the gorge de Heric, St Martin, La Coste or Mons. In the summer months there are snack bars and refreshments in Mons and on the cycle track.
