Shell Bay, Studland, Dorset.

Shell bay to Middle beach on the Heather and dune trails and also on the beach. Crossing on Ferry is £3.80 for a car one way but returning via Corfe castle and Wareham is a must for the views. 

Car parking is free to NT members or £1.50 per hour or £6 for the day. Lots of wonderful birds, flowers and animals to see both on the heathland and the beach. 

Takes about 1h30 to 2H return. Worth taking a picnic or enjoy the cafe or ice cream at the knoll beach car park. Dogs on 2m leads on beach at this time of year.
