Around Mons La Trivalle.

Lovely walk down to the gorge and around the edge of Mons this afternoon. Phoebe enjoyed a swim in the Heric.
From Mons to Le Verdier Haut following the blue path. Down through the gorge car park still following the blue markers. The is a good way down to the lower part of the River Heric next to the wooden sign 6. At the bridge go up onto the Voie verte and cross the bridge with it's wonderful view of the gorge. Now take the little left turn just before the next little green bridge and go under this bridge and onto a small paved track. The track crosses a lovely old stone bridge over the river, then go up to join the road. Taking the little road above the hamlet of Le Verdier Bas. The road crosses a bridge and joins the gorge road. Turn right and then first left to return to the sentier des gorges then returns to Mons by turning left through the woods.
