Avon Country Park.

Avon Country Park Today. A really beautiful walk with quite a bit of mud around but mostly on good paths. I haven't been down there for a while but it was nice to see it all again. There are plenty of coloured trails or you can get a map in the centre and enjoy a wander. There are quite a few cows grazing but they are very calm and dogs can run off the lead as long as they are under control. The visitors centre also has a cafe and a great play area for children. It is also the home of a Nature nursery for under 5's. Parking fees are charged; £1.10 for 1H, £2.10 for 2H and £3.70 for the whole day. Friends of Avon CP pay £23 and receive free parking. https://www.dorsetforyou.com/avonheath
