Scratch Arse Ware and Dancing Ledge, Dorset.

Scratch Arse Ware and Dancing Ledge. This mornings walk from Langton Matravers in the Purbecks along the coastal path and the Priests Way. We left early to avoid the rain and parked at The Spyway car park NT but Free Parking. From here we walked up to the barn and between the buildings, continuing on to reach the upper cliff path. Here we turned right and continued on to reach Scratch Arse Ware, where we descended to reach the lower coastal path. Turning left here we headed along the coastal path to reach the Dancing Ledge, an old stone quarry with beautiful views and swimming in a pool in the summer months is possible. We then returned to the path and headed east through three gates, after the third we headed up along the edge of the wall and continued on to reach the Priests way. Then returned to the car park. 3.5 miles 1.30H . Lovely views.https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/…/scratch-arse-ware-and-da….
