Ringwood forest/ Plumley wood.

A rather damp walk in the forest today. It was raining for some of the time, but the sun did come out for a while in the end. We walked up to the top of the hill/Plumley wood as we did yesterday.

Ringwood Forest.

A lovely easy walk on both smaller and larger paths. Starting at the Chase and heading on the right hand path. Turning on small path through woods, under pylons. Then straight on grassy path. At junction turn left, shortly crossing small stream. Continue to next junction, crossing diagonally to a small path through the woods. Continue on and and then turn left. Now return down the hill.

Moors valley, playtrail.

Moors valley, around the play trail. A lovely morning with my grandchildren playing on the playtrail and walking our dog. There are some new boards up for "the stick man trail" with information about nature and things to make.

Ringwood Forest.

Ringwood forest, always a lovely walk whatever the weather. Even the sun came out, which was lovely.

Stephen's castle.

Stephen castle behind the memorial ground for a walk with Phoebe. A great place for a walk either with a dog or children. Good paths and lots of interest. Two good ponds and the old sand quarries make for great views and interesting wildlife. From here there is direct access to Ringwood forest.

Dewlands common, a puddle walk.

A puddle walk with my granddaughter and Phoebe the dog. That's two day's without rain!
