Ringwood to Verwood, via Eblake.

BH24 bakery,Ringwood to Dewlands,Verwood via, Ashley heath forest, Eblake, Potterne and Howe Lane. Another way back.  After leaving the super scummy bakery in Ringwood, if you find that you can drag yourself away, head down the passageway to your right and down a little lane to find yourself on the Bickerley.

Go towards the fields, over the bridge and turn right onto the Castleman trailway. At the end of this path go through the car park, under the main road and cross the road. Turn left onto the castleman once again and at a junction, turn right and go up the hill and into the forest. At the next junction go right heading towards the road.

Keep left and then right at the next two junctions. From then on keep straight on. Finally the path runs parallel with a fenced in area that makes it's way down to run alongside a small stream adjacent to an open area area. At the end of this path cross the bridge into the housing estate and turn left and then right.

Beside a small playground turn right to go down a little path that runs behind the houses next to another brook. At the end of this path turn left to cross the bridge, entering the forest of Potterne wood. Now turn right and follow the path under tall pines. Soon you reach another exit to houses, turn left in the forest area and continue on the path to reach the river Crane where a bridge cross it to enter the park.

Don't cross the bridge but turn right just before it to continue through a small wood. When you reach the road turn left around the stream and immediately left again. Follow the path beside houses and a grassy area and then keep left twice passing a grazing area until you reach the main Verwood road. Turn right and cross the road near the Guide building. On your left there is a small track that emerges at the bottom of Howe lane. Continue alone the lane passing two roundabouts to reach Margards lane and then Dewlands common.

Coach Road, Ashley heath forest.

One of my favourite routes from the Dump car park or should I say the new posh "Coach Road" car parking area.

The weather was glorious this morning and the bracken is really starting to change colour now.

A super route and down the main track and not turning off until you have passed the second junction.

A little path through the fir trees onto the fitness trail (orange) and then across to reach the red route.

After crossing a junction on this you pass over the bike route "through the forest" and then left onto the main track. Crossing Pine Avenue and the left at the next junction. No keep right at the next two junctions to return to the cars.

Ashley heath Forest, Leaving from Ringwood forest car park, first on the right hand side of the road after leaving Verwood.

Walk towards Moors valley down the main path, but turn left and walk up the wide sandy track until you reach a junction at the top of the hill.

Turn right and walk to the next junction, then then right again down the narrower sandy track back to the main track that you started on.

Now turn right again and walk back to the car park. There are a couple of nice benches on route for coffee stops too. Lots of pretty heather out and the bracken is turning too.

The Coach Road, Ashley heath forest, Ringwood.

A walk in Ashley forest this morning. Starting from the "Dump" car park (newly renamed "The coach road car park" by the Forestry commission on their new sign)It's just past the dump about half way to Ringwood.

Head down the main path until a short way past the second junction. Go through the left hedge on small path that leads to fitness trail. Keep on this path, crossing several junctions until you come to red marker.

Go left then right and then left again following the red markers. There is a bench just before you get to this point, it's a good spot for a picnic or a flask of coffee.

Finally left onto track. When you reach the main track cross it and go up towards the Ringwood road. Turn left and then bear right keeping on track near the road. Turn left to reach the car parking area.
