Parking at Vereley car park, keep left and walk down to the ford , then up into Ridley wood and turning left.
Once out of Ridley wood, head over to Little wood and then turn left and onto the old Smuggler Rd path that heads back up to the road on Picket Plain.
Turn left just before the road and keep on this track until you reach the car park. Lovely to see all the heather out.
