La Rouffiac, Le Bousquet-d-Orb

La Rouffiac, Le Bousquet-d-Orb. 7km. 2.30 H. Blue. This is an interesting walk. Not well marked at all, with a lot of nasty brambles on the first part of the walk just before you reach the stream. The walk starts by parking behind the school in a large parking area (It's just behind the council offices).Turn right and then right up The Rue des Marronniers. When you reach a kennel, take the path just before it that turns left. The tiny path is very brambly for a few metres (take a stick or cutters). The path ascends the slopes of Mont Sanegra via the stream in chestnut woods. The little path crosses the stream a couple of times and then crosses the stream for the last time, taking a gently undulating path through little oaks. Eventually the path reaches a small grassy track where you turn left. Soon you will come to some great views of the valley below and a junction of tracks. Turn right toward the village of Fontenilles. When you come to the village turn right and then look out for a small path on your left that goes down. Now you reach another wider track. Look under this one and you will see a lower path going down. This one will return you to Le Bousquet d'Orb.
