Le Pech, Agel. 6km/ 2H. Blue markers. fairly easy as it's not long but with some uphill at the beginning of the walk. This is delightful little walk with lots of beautiful views, up to the Black Mountains, over to the coast and over the causses and farmland. The walk starts at the car park near the river and crosses the river first before taking the track up hill to the forest. (There is another another walk from the village so make sure you cross the river). The track winds uphill and passes a lovely old chapel, now just a ruin but it must have enjoyed a wonderful position at one time. Keep right until you reach a junction with a signpost for the walk. Take the track to your left to reach a lovely view point. Now retrace your route back to the signpost and turn left to return on the continuing track. This track continue through the pretty pine forest with more lovely views. Now you are on the edge of the vineyards with views towards the village and its lovely chateau. Return over the bridge to the car park but a little walk around the lovely village is most welcome. There is a walled chateau, a windmill, a church, pretty lanes and a font.
